Our scanning and identification apps may collect:

• Camera Data: Images you capture for identification purposes (processed locally when possible)

• Personal contact information (unless you contact us directly)
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Access to other apps on your device

• Provide and improve our app functionalities
• Process identification requests (birds, plants, cards, banknotes)
• Generate AI-powered content (cover letters, emojis)

2A. User Consent and Permissions

We respect your privacy and are transparent about when and how we collect data. Our apps operate on both iOS and Android platforms.

2A.1 When Permission Requests Occur

Your device operating system (iOS or Android) will prompt you to grant permissions when you:

• Camera Access: When using scanning or photo features, both iOS and Android prompt you to grant camera permission
• Photo Library/Gallery: When saving or loading images, both iOS and Android prompt for photo library/gallery access
• AI Photo Processing: When using AI-powered photo editing features, images will be temporarily uploaded to our servers for processing (as described in Section 3)

2A.2 Data Collection Types

• Camera Permission: Optional, but required to use scanning and photo features. If denied, those specific features will not be available, but you can still access other app functionality.
• Analytics & Crash Data: Collected automatically and anonymously. This data contains no personal identifiers and helps us improve app stability and performance. This collection is not optional but is completely anonymous.
• AI Processing: Optional, only occurs when you actively use AI-powered features. Images are processed temporarily and deleted within 24 hours.

2A.3 Using the App Without Camera Permission

If you choose to deny camera or photo library permissions:

• Scanning and photo features will not be available
• Other app features (if applicable) remain fully accessible
• You can enable permissions later through your device settings

2A.4 Revoking Permissions

You can revoke granted permissions at any time through your device settings:

• iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > [Permission Type] > [App Name] to manage permissions
• Android: Go to Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Permissions to manage permissions

To request deletion of any data we have collected, contact us at info@semsturgut.com with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

3. Face Photo Processing

When you upload a photo that may contain a face, it is used only to generate your requested AI edit (e.g., cartoon, headshot, animation). These photos are stored temporarily on secure our servers and automatically deleted within 24 hours after processing. We do not use biometric identifiers, and we do not share face photos with any third parties.

• Purpose: Photos are processed solely for AI-powered editing and enhancement features
• Storage: Temporary storage on secure our servers for processing purposes only
• Retention: Automatic deletion within 24 hours after processing completion
• No Biometric Use: We do not extract, store, or use biometric identifiers from face photos
• No Third-Party Sharing: Face photos are never shared with third parties or external services

3A. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our AI-powered features utilize third-party services including OpenAI, Fal.ai, and Google AI Labs. Please be aware:

• Accuracy: AI-generated content and identification results are provided for informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate
• Not Professional Advice: Content generated by our AI features should not be considered professional, medical, financial, or legal advice
• User Responsibility: Users should verify AI-generated information independently before making decisions based on it
• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• Data Processing: Text and image inputs are sent to third-party AI services for processing as described in Section 6
• Content Ownership: You retain ownership of content you create or upload, but AI-generated outputs may be subject to the AI service provider's terms

By using AI-powered features in our apps, you acknowledge and accept these limitations and agree to use the generated content at your own discretion and risk.

3B. AI Data Processing

3B.1 Data Collection

When you use our AI video generation features, we collect:

• Photos: Images you upload from your device's photo library or capture via camera
• Prompt Text: Text descriptions or instructions you provide to guide the video generation

This data is collected only when you actively choose to use the AI video feature within the app.

3B.2 Purpose of Processing

The collected data is used exclusively to:

• Generate AI-powered videos based on your uploaded photos and text prompts
• Provide the core functionality of the app
• Improve the quality and accuracy of video generation results

3B.3 Third-Party AI Provider

Your photos and prompt text are transmitted to FAL AI, a third-party artificial intelligence service provider, for processing. FAL AI operates the machine learning models that transform your inputs into generated videos.

3B.4 Data Protection Standards

We require FAL AI to maintain data protection standards that are equal to or stronger than those described in this Privacy Policy. FAL AI processes your data securely and does not use it for purposes other than fulfilling your video generation request.

3B.5 No Data Selling

We do not sell your photos, prompt text, or generated videos to any third party. Your data is shared only with FAL AI for the sole purpose of processing your video generation request.

3B.6 Data Retention

Your data is retained only temporarily:

• Photos and prompts are used solely for processing your specific video generation request
• Data is deleted automatically after processing is complete or within a short period (typically 24 hours)
• We do not retain your photos or prompts for training, marketing, or any other secondary purpose

3B.7 User Consent

Explicit consent is required before any data is transmitted. Before your photos or prompts are sent to FAL AI for processing, you will be presented with a clear consent prompt explaining:

• What data will be sent (your photo and prompt text)
• Where it will be sent (to FAL AI for video generation)
• How long it will be retained (temporarily, then deleted)

You must affirmatively agree before any data is transmitted. If you do not consent, the AI video feature will not be available, but other app features (if applicable) will remain functional.

4. Data Processing and Storage

4.1 Local Processing

Whenever possible, we process data locally on your device to protect your privacy:

Data shared: Only the necessary input data (text, images) required for processing. No personal identifiers are shared. All AI processing is performed anonymously.

6.2 Analytics and Performance Monitoring

• Firebase Analytics: Tracks app usage patterns, feature engagement, and user behavior (aggregated data only, no personal information)
• Google Analytics: Monitors app performance and user interactions (anonymized data collection)
• Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports and technical logs to improve app stability (device information and crash data only)

Data collected: Device type, iOS version, app version, feature usage, crash logs, and performance metrics. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

6.3 Apple Services

• App Store: App distribution and updates (subject to Apple's privacy policy)
• iCloud: Optional data backup if user enables it (subject to Apple's privacy policy)

2. Include your User ID from your app's profile/settings section to help us identify your data
3. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days
4. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification
5. You will receive confirmation once deletion is complete

After deletion, we cannot recover your data. Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 90 days for regulatory compliance purposes.

8.3 Subscription Management

To manage or cancel your subscriptions:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
