How to Request Data Deletion
To request complete deletion of your personal data from our systems, please follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Find Your User ID
📱 Locating Your User ID
Open the app and navigate to:
- Profile → Settings → User ID
- Or check the About section in your app
Copy your User ID (it looks like: user_abc123xyz456)
Step 2: Send Deletion Request Email
Send an email to info@semsturgut.com with the following information:
Email Body:
Hello,
I would like to request the deletion of my account and all associated personal data.
User ID: [Your User ID here]
App Name: [Name of the app you're using]
Thank you.
⚠️ Important Notice About Photos:
Uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our servers right after you have a successful or failed processing operation. Photos are never stored permanently and are removed within 24 hours maximum.
What Happens Next?
- Confirmation: We will confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days
- Verification: We may ask for additional information to verify your identity
- Deletion: Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification
- Final Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request data deletion, we will remove:
- Your user account and profile information
- Any content you created within the app (notes, tasks, etc.)
- Preferences and settings
- Any photos temporarily stored for processing
Please Note:
- Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 90 days for regulatory compliance purposes
- After deletion, we cannot recover your data
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again
- Subscription management must be done separately through the App Store or Google Play
Alternative: Delete Data Locally
If you only want to delete data stored on your device:
- iOS: Go to Settings → [App Name] → Clear Data, or delete and reinstall the app
- Android: Go to Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Storage → Clear Data
This will remove all locally stored data but will not affect any data on our servers (which is minimal and mostly anonymous).
Managing Subscriptions
Data deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions. To cancel subscriptions:
- iOS Users: Manage subscriptions on App Store
- Android Users: Manage subscriptions on Google Play
